Dr. Paracha is board certified in Psychiatry and Neurology. Over the years, he has worked in different capacities ranging from clinical to administrative capacities. His medical background includes medical mducation at The Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences, Pakistan. Dr. Paracha completed Psychiatry residency training at Charleston Area Medical Center, WV. After completing his residency, he worked with Community Psychiatry at Eastridge Health System, Martinsburg, WV. He has great experience working with the young adolescent in the Partial Hospitalization Program at North Spring Behavioral Health in  Leesburg, VA. He also has worked at various inpatient settings to help acutely mentally ill patients. Dr. Paracha is licensed to practice medicine in Virginia and West Virginia. Dr. Paracha’s expertise focuses on the evaluation of psychopharmacological and psychosocial treatments for the major psychiatric disorders including but not limited to Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Psychotic Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, and Dementia. He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association,  Psychiatric Society Of Virginia and the American Medical Association.

Dr. Paracha is a psychiatrist who specializes in medication management for treating patient ages 18 and above. He is available to see patients in person or through telehealth, and he accepts most insurance plans and self-pay patients.
